On http://www.gammon.com.au/mushclient/mushclient.htm , why not make the "MUSHClient Discussion Forum" link go directly to the forum at http://www.gammon.com.au/scripts/forum.php?bbsection_id=1 ? As it is, it takes 3 clicks to get there which seems pointless.

Good idea. I think I did it that way when the forum was new. I have removed the intermediate page, and make the link on the main MUSHclient page go straight to the MUSHclient section of the forum.

LOL... Now *I* need to perform extra clicking...

I prefer to read new posts from the "All forums" page, since that page lists the most recent posts. (I just click on MushClient forum messages from there).

Can't make us all happy, can you Nick? ROFLMAO...

Isn't the number of clicks for you still the same (2)? Because Nick removed an intermediate .html page between the site and the forum that didn't do anything.

Hmm. Maybe you are right. :) No matter, doesn't bother me if I have to follow an extra link.

Magnum is right - the page that lists recent posts is the "home" forum page, not the MUSHclient one. Still, you can do what I do and make that a bookmark, rather than hunting through the MUSHclient pages for the link - that would save an extra click anyway, and then you can make whichever page you want come up first.

I almost always click on "help | Mushclient web page" in the client to come here...

The blue button at the top of every mushclient page still points to the "All forums" page, so it's still 1-click away for me, which is fine. :)

The dates and times for posts above are shown in Universal Co-ordinated Time (UTC).

To show them in your local time you can join the forum, and then set the 'time correction' field in your profile to the number of hours difference between your location and UTC time.
